CRA Roseville Sponsors Rider in LIVESTRONG Challenge

CRA's Roseville office proudly sponsored Casey Cummings in the Lance Armstrong LIVESTRONG Challenge in Austin, Texas, in October 2008.  With CRA's help, Casey raised over $2,000 in support of the Lance Armstrong Foundation.  The Foundation was formed in 1997 by cancer survivor and champion cyclist, Lance Armstrong, to inspire and empower people affected by cancer. 

Employees were inspired by Casey's story.  A high school football coach, Casey was diagnosed with cancer almost ten years ago.  As he experienced surgery, treatment, side effects, and the emotional ups and downs associated with fighting the disease, he grew more determined to beat it.  In honor of his personal battle with cancer and the millions of people affected by cancer, he participated in the 90-mile cycling marathon on October 26, 2008.  CRA is proud of Casey's accomplishments and pleased to have played a role in helping Casey to achieve his goals.

More than 10 million Americans are currently living with cancer, and more than 1.3 million people in the United States will be diagnosed with cancer this year alone.
