CRA Participates in "Run for the General"

The CRA St. Catharines office participated in the Run for the General on Sunday, May 6, 2007.  The Run for the General is a charitable 1 km and 5 km run/walk to raise funds to purchase hospital equipment for a number of departments at the St. Catharines General Hospital. 

Team "Conestoga-Rovers & Associates" consisted of 15 participants, including six CRA employees (Greg Carli, Peter Kim, Margaret MacAulay, Jane Perz, John Sarkis, and Leanne Whiteley) and their friends and families.  "Not only did we have a great turnout from the office, but our team was also awarded the Best Corporate Fundraiser with $1,102.00 raised for the event."  Special recognition goes to Mohamed Valji of Inspec-Sol, who was unable to participate in the run/walk but still raised over $500 for the event.
