CRA Recognized by the Society of Women Engineers
The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) recently recognized CRA for their continued support of SWE's activities in the Chicagoland area. SWE, founded in 1950, is a not-for-profit educational and service organization. SWE is the driving force that establishes engineering as a highly desirable career aspiration for women. The organization empowers women to succeed and advance in those aspirations, and recognizes members for their life-changing contributions and achievements as engineers and leaders.
In June, the Chicago Regional Section of SWE recognized CRA as a Silver level sponsor for 2009. Accepting the certificate of appreciation were: (back row L-R): Martha Darnton (Lansing), Betty LeClerc (Plymouth), Beth Landale (Windsor), Shelly Gould (Chicago), Katie Kamm (Chicago), (front row L-R): Jennifer Quigley (Plymouth), Amanda Gruesbeck (Indianapolis), and Kristen Aspinall (Plymouth).

In July 2009, the CRA Chicago office hosted a professional development seminar for SWE members and local female clients. Ms. Gabrielle Sigel of Jenner & Block, LLP gave a presentation entitled, "Using Experts in Litigation Projects," which used CRA's involvement with the O'Hare Modernization Project (OMP) as an example. In 2008 and 2009, Jenner & Block was named a Working Mother and Flex-Time Lawyers Best Law Firm for Women.
Thank you to CRA for their generous sponsorship of SWE in the Chicagoland area!
