e:DAT Web™
e:DAT Web™ is a unique solution that integrates various types of electronic information, providing centralized and common access to all types of users. Traditional web-enabled GIS products provide a structure that requires specific data formats and files types. e:DAT Web™ provides superior flexibility that enables the integration of geographic information with all types of tabular and visual electronic information.
Here's a summary of some of the typical applications where e:DAT Web™ can provide the integration of geographic data with other electronic information:
Environmental
e:DAT Web™ makes it easy to link environmental monitoring databases with geographic data. For example, on a broad scale, you can use e:DAT Web™ to access real-time streamflow monitoring data across an entire watershed. On a smaller scale, you can use e:DAT Web™ to access soil and groundwater monitoring for all of your organization's properties. e:DAT Web's™ advanced database query engine makes it easy to perform simple, or complicated, queries on an environmental monitoring database.
Local Government
Most local governments already manage their geographic data using some type of GIS technology. These organizations are also responsible for many types of other electronic information as well. e:DAT Web™ can link your GIS information to databases storing your corporate financial and asset management information. You can also imagine many other scenarios such as links from each land parcel to deeds, surveys, or other land management documents.
Utilities
In addition to managing traditional geographic data, utilities managing water, electricity, oil, and natural gas, are also responsible for accessing real-time data typically collected using SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) applications or other asset management systems. e:DAT Web™ can be easily configured to bridge the gap between these types of important information and provide consistent access for any aspect of the utility operations.
How Does e:DAT Web™ Work?
e:DAT Web™ can be used for both Internet (publicly accessible) and Intranet (private) applications. It is built from a variety of industry leading technologies that can be easily customized depending on the specific needs of your organization.

It's unique ability to link spatial data with tabular relational data allow users to add the power of geographic location to their traditional database queries and reports. You can create presentation-quality or working reports using our interface to Crystal Reports™.
Electronic Documents
Electronic documents can exist on the web in a variety of formats such as Adobe PDF™, XML, traditional HTML, and images or photographs. Alternatively, you may have a web-enabled document management system. In any case, e:DAT Web™ can easily link your geographic data with most types of web-enabled documents.
